The Trippe Gallery

Michelle Vogel has always loved art and experimenting with different mediums.  In college she graduated with a degree in Business with a minor in Art from Towson University of Maryland .  Over the years she has created commissioned pieces of artwork for both Commercial and residential properties.  Her heart is especially drawn to Maryland’s Eastern Shore—the Chesapeake Bay’s stunning sunsets, seashells, clouds, and the natural beauty that surrounds us.  She is continually inspired by God’s handiwork, particularly the iridescent, neutral tones of oysters, which she believes bring warmth and elegance to any interior.

This love of nature and texture has led her to explore 3-D and mixed-media elements in her work. Her current oyster shell series—hand-formed, sculpted pieces with layered glazes capturing that signature Chesapeake glow—will be featured at the gallery. Each creation celebrates the miracles of creation and invites that same peace and beauty into your home.
