Frank Hallinan Flood is an Irish artist living in Swords, County Dublin. Frank has been a full time Fine Art painter for the past sixteen years. Prior to that he worked as an award winning theatre design artist, both in Ireland and internationally.

Frank's primary focus is in representational painting. By representational Frank means the use of three dimensional reality. A keen walker and lover of the natural world, Frank has a particular interest in Plein Air painting. As he lives in North County Dublin, he finds himself regularly drawn to its abundant coastline and harbors.

Frank believes that by engaging with the material world in a representational way an artist is looking intensely at our universe and thereby opening ourselves to the wonder and connectedness of our universality.
